For me family photos are all about connection and capturing what makes your family special! Yes we will often try to get that classic 'everyone looking at the camera and smiling' portrait, but my FAVOURITE images are when we capture the love that your family have for each each. The goal is to make the session fun, by keeping kids engaged with snuggles, tickles, and playing games. We customise your photoshoot to fit with your family's style and what will make you feel most comfortable. We have the option of photographing smaller families in the studio, or alternatively we can do in-home lifestyle sessions to capture your family in their natural environment, or we can take advantage of the gorgeous Nelson outdoor environment. With outdoor photos time of day really does matter and we tend to schedule these either early in the morning or just before sunset in order to get the most flattering light and make your family shine.
