Best Time for Newborn Portraits

For those beautifully sleepy, curled newborn portraits, sessions are best booked within the first 5–12 days after birth, while babies are still relaxed and naturally flexible.

Because of this delicate timing, I recommend booking your session before your baby arrives — simply holding a tentative date helps ensure we can capture these earliest moments without stress or delay. This way we can also have time to plan how to customise the session to your family before life gets full of diaper changes and late night feeds.

Your newborn session begins with a $200 session fee, which reserves your date and covers:

This session fee is credited toward artwork of your choosing. You only invest in the pieces you love — whether that’s heirloom prints, wall art, albums, or digital collections.

Printed artwork starts at $350
Digital collections start at $500

This approach gives you flexibility while still ensuring your portraits are treasured in a way that feels meaningful and intentional.

Booking & Availability

Because newborns arrive on their own schedule, I take on a limited number of newborn sessions each month so I can be flexible and prioritise each family with care.
